**Description:** What we have here is a *very rare* late 50s/early 60s Andre Bouchard “Electric” wristwatch that has a secret under the hood. That secret is that it actually uses a Wittnauer electro-chron movement. The Wittnauer Electro-Chrons tend to be highly sought after collector’s pieces due to their sleek design language and modern sizing + styling. This Andre Bouchard clearly took a page out of their book and almost certainly was working directly with them given it uses their movement and nearly identical hands. Everything about this piece is electrifying from its modern sizing, to its gorgeous dial patina, all the way to that hint of art deco on the 12. That’s to say nothing of the fact 5 lightning bolts will always be better than 3. ⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡ **Condition:** Watches from the 1950s don’t look much better than this. It’s an incredible condition for a ~70 year old watch. The gold plating is 98% instact, edges are sharp on the lugs, all parts are original. There is very little wear on the piece too, truly a stellar collector’s piece. Watch runs, but has no service history.
