Up for sale today is my mid 90s SMP 300 Asking 1500, US Shipping Only. Venmo/Paypal Only selling to continue whittling down my collection Purchased from the Ebay Authenticity guarantee program back in 2022 and will include the NFC guarantee card in the sale The watch has had a movement service as well as a minor service to reattach the HEV which popped off. The HEV incident is a fairly common issue with these early seamasters so it is a common well known repair. Receipts available on request for serious inquiries. Visually the watch is pretty good for 30ish years old. The insert has a few minor scratches. The sapphire crystal is scratch free and the dial is blemish free. Regarding the dial, it is a tritium marker dial known as a fried egg dial. The tritium has aged to a lovely yellow tone however they essentially have very minimal lume now. The bracelet is currently sized for my 7.25(ish) wrist and I have two additional links.that will be included in the sale. Clasp has the usual scratches due to desk diving No Box/papers Please ask any questions you may have

Founded at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848 by 23-year-old Louis Brandt who assembled key-wound precision pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen. He travelled throughout Europe selling his watches from Italy to Scandinavia by way of England, his chief market. After Louis Brandt's death in 1879, his two sons Louis-Paul and Cesar, troubled by irregular deliveries of questionable quality, abandoned the unsatisfactory assembly workshop system in favour of in-house manufacturing and total production control. Due to the greater supply of manpower, communications and energy in Bienne, the enterprise moved into a small factory in January 1880, then bought the entire building in December. Two years later the company moved into a converted spinning-factory in the Gurzelen district of Bienne, where headquarters are still situated today. Their first series-produced calibres, Labrador and Gurzelen, as well as, the famous Omega calibre of 1894, would ensure the brand's marketing success.
