For sale is my midsize "Slim Turtle" Seiko with the robust 7C43 (7 jewels) high torque movement. Historically, if I remember correctly, the 6458 -> 7C43 -> 7C46 came first, which is still used in modern Tuna's. The crystal is screwed and not pressed into the case, which led to Seiko adjusting the WD from 150m to 200m at the time and the watches getting "Professional" lettering on the dial. The bezel on the Japanese models (like this one) is bidirectional, i.e. it can be turned in both directions. Lug width of the watch is 19mm. Condition of the watch: > For a diver's watch from 1986, the condition is great. > There are small scratches everywhere but nothing major. > The dial is clean, the crown can be opened and closed properly. > The bezel turns smoothly, but has some wiggle in its position. > The movement works perfectly, as does the date/day changeover (it is a Japanese version, i.e. the date is ENG/Japanese). I have not yet had to change the battery myself. > There is a number engraved on the edge of the case cover, most likely from the first owner (you can see it in the last photo) It comes with the Seiko fat springbars and an Eulit Perlon strap (not new). Water resistance has not been checked, I used it for desk diving.
