Selling my beloved Alpina pilot chronograph. I purchased this brand new when I earned my commercial pilot certificate and it’s been a very special watch to me. I haven’t been wearing it as much lately and it’s time to let it go to someone else who will give it a new life. $600 shipped (CONUS, +3% for PP G&S). It comes on the H-style bracelet with butterfly clasp, brushed outer links, and polished center links. It looks and feels great but to be honest the polished center links are fingerprint magnets and that bugged me so I almost always wore this on a strap or nato. I’m including a like-new tan/khaki Cordura sailcloth pilot strap (from B and R Bands) that I never really wore but think it looks great on- gives you a strap option in addition to the bracelet. SPECS: 44mm case, 22mm lug width, movement is the Alpina Calibre AL-725 (based on Valjoux 7750 like the older IWC pilot chronos also). 46 hrs power reserve, screw down crown, 100m water resistance. Saphire crystal. This watch is best described as if the IWC pilot chronograph and portugieser were blended- it has clear pilot chrono DNA with the white numerals on the black dial, and it has the same brushed case with chamfered edges on the lugs. Stylized onion style crown like a Flieger. But it has portugieser style pushers and the leaf-shaped hands. I also own a Big Pilot 43 and this Alpina appears to have the same anti-reflective coating on the crystal, giving that beautiful blueish hue at certain angles (and making the glass disappear most of the time). It really is an awesome watch and if you can’t tell I have loved it a ton.  It’s very accurate and keeping great time. I’m hoping this goes to a fellow pilot who also loves pilot watches and automatic chronographs, and also isn’t in a place to actually buy an IWC (yet 😉). Cheers
