The MB&F M.A.D 1 has become iconic in the few years since it’s release; there is simply nothing else like it available in the industry! The MB&F M.A.D. 1 Blue Edition was introduced in 2021, and this variant is a limited edition of only 450 pieces exclusively available to friends of the brand (that’s the F in MB&F). The movement has been flipped upside down compared to how a “normal” watch is oriented, and as such the movement is now front and center on the face of the timepiece. The time is read via the rotating numeral wheels at the 6 o’clock position. Much like the Ulysse Nardin Freak, seeing so much motion on the face of the watch always stimulates conversation; even normies who don’t like watches are intrigued when they see something like this!
