Greetings: Selling my beautiful Millemetri because I bought an Anonimo Cronoscopio Mark II. This Millemetri is in a good overall condition, unpolished and working without any problems. This reference has an automatic movement (ETA 2824-2) (28,800 vph), an automatic helium escape valve, screw-down crown, and is 1000m water resistant (100 ATM). Original Anonimo rubber diver strap with signed steel buckle. Lugs: 22mm. Clean sapphire crystal and black dial with Arabic numerals. Full and strong lume. Date and central second hand. 40-hour power reserve. The 42mm stainless steel case has a slightly noticeable scratch at the 9 o’clock position. Original papers and box included. Anonimo was founded in Florence and consists of the legacy of Panerai and its former suppliers. When Panerai was bought by what is the Richemont Group today, they moved to Switzerland and many of the former staff and machinery were left behind in Florence. Federico Massacesi together with former Panerai boss and naval officer Dino Zei founded the Anonimo brand in 1997, taking advantage of the know-how Panerai had left behind. Anonimo continued to build sturdy watches with a nautical heritage. All of the Anonimo Firenze watches until 2012/2013 have superbly crafted cases and are almost all 500m or 1000m water resistant.
