Patek Philippe Calatrava, ref 3468/4, in 18k yellow gold with integrated 18k gold mesh band, circa 1970. Time only. Handwound. 33mm. Signed on dial, movement, and inside of caseback, with Patek calatrava cross on crown and buckle. Really fantastic condition; I doubt that there could be many of these around that are any nicer. TZ 95%, execept that the watch could benefit from a service. Watch has never been polished.

Movement is the 23-300. From an online discussion forum: "Carlos Perez wrote a comparative essay on some of the famous handwinds and to quote, 'The 23-300 is one of very few movements manufactured by Patek Philippe to use both an overcoil hairspring and a free-sprung Gyromax balance, and of which it was the only 10 ligne handwind. It represents both the technical and artistic peak of Patek's 10 ligne handwinds.'"

Geneva sealed, unlike current Pateks. Design, decoration, anglage, and general finish all beautiful, unlike current entry level Pateks, which are not hand finished.

Watch will fit a 7.5" wrist. Can be sized down by a jeweler.

Includes original inner and outer box, no original papers. $8300 US. Watch weighs 62 grams; the gold alone is worth more than $3000. Price includes shipping. Can ship from Canada or USA.
