NO TRADES PLEASE For sale is a Seiko SRPE05 “King Turtle”. Specs: - Ceramic Bezel Insert - 45mm case diameter - 13.22mm thickness - 22mm between the lugs - 47.7 lug-to-lug - 4R36 Movement - Sapphire Crystal I’m the original owner and the full kit is included from my 2021 purchase: original rubber strap, box, manual, tag, and blank warranty card. This has been a near daily wear for me - the condition reflects that, as shown in the photos/video. That said, there are no deep gouges/scratches and the crystal is intact. Watch is keeping good time and the bezel is aligned, serviced by Chronotek last year. I’m also including a fully linked Strapcode/Miltat super jubilee steel bracelet, additional Uncle Seiko rubber strap, 2x Crown & Buckle supreme NATO straps, 1x Crown & Buckle single pass strap, and 2x CNS ribbed NATO straps. All are well-worn except for the Uncle Seiko rubber and CNS ribbed straps, which are like new. Offered at $240 USD shipped CONUS via PayPal F&F or Venmo (will ship Monday if sold today). The company was founded in 1881, when Kintarō Hattori opened a watch and jewelry shop called "K. Hattori" (服部時計店 Hattori Tokeiten?) in the Ginza area of Tokyo, Japan. Eleven years later, in 1892, he began to produce clocks under the name Seikosha (精工舎 Seikōsha?), meaning roughly "House of Exquisite Workmanship". According to Seiko's official company history, titled "A Journey In Time: The Remarkable Story of Seiko" (2003), Seiko is a Japanese word meaning "exquisite" or "success" ("exquisite" is usually written 精巧 from Chinese jīngqiǎo, while the meaning "success" is usually written 成功 from Chinese chénggōng).

Seiko is perhaps best known for its wristwatches, all of which were at one time produced entirely in-house. This includes not only major items such as microgears, motors, hands, crystal oscillators, batteries, sensors, LCDs but also minor items such as the oils used in lubricating the watches and the luminous compounds used on the hands and the dials.
