Heck, vintage Tudor Subs continue to inspire releases by the brand today. You get all the history, the robust build, while stepping outside the Sub box just enough to stand out of the crowd. And when you want color in your Sub, Tudor does blue incredibly well, going back to 1956 and their relationship with the French Navy. Here we have all of that, wrapped up in the transitional reference 76100 that only lived for a handful of years in the mid to late 1980s. This is a gorgeous example complete with Tudor bracelet ready to rock! REF: 76100 SERIAL: 233,XXX DATE: 1988 DIAL: The perfect blue paired with creamy tritium lume and Mercedes hour hand is just an awesome thing! In great condition, a few specs here and there seen under a loupe and the common light spidering to the lacquer usually found on these is seen at the right angle, but all in a gorgeous example! CASE: The 40MM previously polished stainless case is also in great shape, of course has age related wear throughout, mostly on the sides, but lugs are still nice and thick with chamfers still visible. Bezel pip still glows under strong light, likely replaced during a service at some point - very clean with barely any wear visible. CRYSTAL: Brand new plexi crystal looks perfect, showing off that stunning dial! MOVEMENT: Service history unknown but likely was recent - running near perfect, well within COSC with timegrapher showing 1 second a day and a healthy amplitude of 312! BRACELET: Comes on Tudor’s 78500 bracelet with 380B endlinks. Rare to find these complete with on Tudor bracelet, this one’s clean and will fit up to approximately 7.75 inches.
