For sale is my Grand Seiko SBGN003 quartz GMT. This model features the extremely high accuracy 9F86 GMT movement. It's a traveler's GMT with an independently settable hour hand. The watch is a fantastic size at 39mm in diameter, 12mm thin and only 46mm lug to lug. On wrist it has an interesting effect given that the case is compact but the dial is relatively large for a watch its size. I purchased it from an AD in 2021. Full kit includes all links, box and papers. It also comes with the custom display stand shown in the photos. Fit and finish are top notch as you'd expect from Grand Seiko. Some things that you can't tell from the photos: • The dial is a fantastic glossy inky black which looks like lacquer (it may be lacquered) • The hands and indices feature Lumibrite • The indices have a micro ridging on their upper flat surface creating a wild iridescent effect • On the bracelet the heft of the bracelet perfectly balances the watch head • The AR on crystal's underside is a greenish brown when it hits the light just right • The hour jumping occurs with an extremely satisfying mechanical click Some other tidbits: • 19mm lug width • Screw down signed crown Condition: • Functionality - perfect. Keeps excellent time within spec (observed at 5 sec/year). Hour jumping is crispy. Crown action is smooth. No problems whatsoever. • Case - some minor scratches around the base and bracelet. Pretty much what you'd expect from occasional wear for a couple years. • Crystal - A+ perfect Why I'm selling.
