No trades at the time.** Hello everyone, Up for sale today is a gorgeous limited edition Grand Seiko SBGP017 with the Iwao dial. I believe the pattern on this watch is the same as the Shunbun but instead in a nice light blue color. The design elements of modern 44GS allows both ultra legibility of the dial, hands, and markers combined with a very complex and well finished case. The markers and hands are finished exceptionally well. The wide lugs on the case allow this watch to have a lot more presence than its 40mm case size suggests. The heat blued GS logo and seconds hand pair well with the dial color and a gold star is placed at the 6 o'clock to signify that this watch has a high accuracy movement. In order to keep the accuracy of the movement at all times, the 9F85 has an independent adjustable hour hand to adjust the hour hand while traveling (for most timezones) or for daylight savings. This watch also has a display caseback to show off the beautiful finishing of the 9F85 movement and there is a light etching of the Grand Seiko lion that can be seen at certain angles. This watch has definitely seen a lot of wear. The most notable marks are on the bezel between the 4 and 5 o'clock. There are some heavy scratches and also a small dent. There is also a small dent on the bezel between the 2 and 3 o'clock. I have attempted to circle these bezel dents in red. The other major wear on the watch is on the bracelet. I'm sure the bracelet could easily be restored to factory condition if you wanted to send it back to Grand Seiko. There are also some marks on the back of the lugs from strap changes. The watch will come with the original outer and inner box, manual, warranty card (dated July 2022), extra papers, etc. The watch comes on the original bracelet and will also come with an Allwrists Iwate 44GS rubber strap in light blue color that fits perfectly on the 44GS case. The bracelet is currently sized to my 6.25" wrist and comes with 4 extra links. The HAQ movement is running within spec of +/- 5 seconds per year.
