Selling a gorgeous Vacheron ultrathin from the late 80s from my collection. I love this watch, but I find I never wear it compared to my ultrathin tiger eye dial from the same age, so am selling it to fund another purchase. An incredibly rare, slick dress piece featuring solid 18k gold bridges on top of a cal. 1006 movement (a backwards constructed version of the legendary and thinnest-in-the-world cal. 1003). Real sapphire cabochon to boot. Note the beautiful hand engraving on the solid gold bridges, in the style of Vacheron Constantin's Ostrich Feather motif found on early pocket watches. The visible escapement is such a treat, as is the rainbow of colors present between the subtly blued hands, plentiful gold and impeccably finished components. Very very light wear for its age.
