WTH is wrong with me!?!?! This piece is beautiful. If I don’t sell it, it’s not a big deal, she’s gorgeous! Everything they tell you about Grand Seiko is true. Finishing is second to none. It's probably the nicest watch I’ve handled. The sheer pleasure I get from looking down at my wrist and looking at the applied indices- mwah chefs kiss! The sunray dial. The polished flanks. I’m talking myself into keeping it; what the hell is wrong with me?!? I bought the watch from Hodinkee over the summer for my 50th birthday next month. Yes, this was supposed to be my 50th birthday watch, but now I want a watch to impress my friends. It's so shallow, so stupid. My loss, your gain. The watch will come with the Grand Seiko box but no papers. I don’t know if the Hodinkee one-year warranty is transferable, but I’ll be here to support you if something goes wrong. I only wear my watches to dinner on the weekend when I’m out with my wife, as I work from home and only see clients occasionally. I have three mechanical watches I rotate, so you do the math. My Apple Watch really takes up most of my time—stupid Apple Watch. It is sized for a 7” wrist and will include one more link. You can easily purchase links from your local Grand Seiko dealer or the website. It will ship out by USPS, but only to the continental U.S. (I’ve been burned before). This is only the second time trying to sell a watch on Reddit, but I have plenty of feedback at forums.watchuseek.com under the same user name, dsbe90. It is priced at $3,000 or best offer. Topper currently lists one for $3,700, and retail is $5,200 if I recall correctly. Make an offer. What’s the worst I can say? Forgive me, mods, if I forgot to mention something.
