Here we’ve got a King Seiko 5626-7000 hi beat from May 1970. Hi beat in this case refers to 4 hz beat rate (not 5 hz of the manual wind varian). Beautiful case design instantly recognizable as Seiko, wonderful finishing as well. Lines appear sharp although I’m sure there has been a light polish at some point in the watch’s life. Dial has some staining around the 3 oclock side. Movement was serviced by the previous owner, it runs steady and strong, consistently -10 seconds per day when worn, -5 when left dial up. Day and date change as they should, also quickset as they should. The date sometimes appears slightly crooked in its window, this is a common issue with these movements, but I was assured by the person that serviced it that it’s a minor flaw with no serious functional threat. Watch is sold head only, CONUS only for $200. I take Zelle, PayPal, Cashapp or Venmo. Any questions or additional photos please feel free to ask. Thanks!

Estimated Private Party Value $358 — $670
