For sale, vintage Gallet Multichron 12 circa 1970, powered by the Valjoux 72. Nicknamed the ‘Jim Clark’ because the famous Lotus grand prix racer was said to have worn one, though it’s unproven from what I can tell. Wears truly well at 37mm, and with 20mm lugs has surprising wrist presence compared to the similar 36-39mm chronographs of the day. The case is in very good condition with sharp bevels. A few small marks here and there on the lugs, but nothing major or noticeable on the wrist. Chrono runs well and keeps great time. Has a service receipt from 2020, though the chrono hand does wander back a bit after a couple days which is not uncommon on V72s. Asking US $3500 including domestic shipping. Includes the very nice blue Veblenist strap in the photos. International shipping available at cost. I am a private collector, not a dealer and this is a watch I’ve worn over the past number of months. I have plenty of references. Please consider the photos to be part of the description and if you would like to see anything closer feel free to ask! Thank you for looking!
