# 1953 Precision Video: [https://youtube.com/shorts/Jpb\_s1\_P8LQ](https://youtube.com/shorts/Jpb_s1_P8LQ) For sale is an excellent example of an early 1950s Rolex, an Oysterdate Precision reference 6294 with beautiful cream dial. This dates to 1953 based on the serial number, and is in amazing condition. It features the thick, "Brevet" stamped case that was characteristic of this reference, about 1.5mm thicker than the later 6494/6694 references but shorter in the lug to lug length. The dial on this is in exceptional condition, with open 6 and 9 on the date wheel and inlaid markers and crown logo. The manual wind movement was recently serviced and is working smoothly with all functions operational, date clicks over right at midnight.
