CWC was founded to build watches exclusively for the British military, but even though you're not going to war, the Mellor-72 makes a fine alternative to your typical Seiko or quartz beater, the watch you grab on the weekend when you make a Home Depot run, or a good travel watch—no date, quick to wind and set, and won’t call unneccessary attention to itself.
