Greetings, Watchfam! Up for sale today is this Baume & Mercier R.S.P.V from the mid 1980s when Baume & Mercier was owned by Piaget. This references uses a Piaget quartz caliber and is very rare and hard to find these days at the price I have listed it for. I have owned it for the past decade and have to consolidate to make room for other pieces in the collection. The case is a stainless steel case with some hairline scratches which can be buffed out upon request The dial is a gorgeous brushed ghost grey with a beautiful sunburst effect There are a few hairline scratches on the case which can be easily polished off and rejuvenated. The dial is in pristine condition. The crystal is scratches as well The size is at 34mm and it wears very well and gets noticed a lot Comes with an aftermarket grey leather Withings strap to match the dial Priced to sell at 340$ with express global shipping (ETA 6-8 working days) Payment method is PayPal F&F or Zelle

Baume & Mercier’s story begins in 1830 with the founding of a family business. Brothers Louis-Victor and Célestin Baume opened a comptoir horloger (watch dealership) in Les Bois, a village in the Swiss Jura. Their company developed rapidly and earned an excellent reputation by creating exceptional models incorporating cutting-edge innovations. Loyal to their motto “Accept only perfection, only manufacture watches of the highest quality”, the Frères Baume company enjoyed rapid growth. Louis- Victor was a true visionary who already intuitively sensed women’s interest in watchmaking and gifted his daughter Mélina a gold pocket-watch in 1869.
