Up for sale is my Oris Big Crown ProPilot Cal. 111.
At the time of release, this was Oris’ flagship pilot watch, with a hand wound, in-house movement featuring an impressive 10 day power reserve.
The Cal. 111 features an attractive turbine finned bezel and dark gray sunburst dial. Arabics are applied blocks of lume. Combined with lumed sword hands, the watch shines like a torch. The watch features two subdials - running seconds at nine nestled next to the date window, and power reserve indicator at three.
The movement is visible through a screw-down, display caseback that features the same turbine motif as the bezel.
The case is satin brushed, with a signed, screw down crown at three.
Condition notes: This is a used watch. Overall condition is excellent - please see photos. I will point out minor scratches on the case sides, a couple of barely visible nicks on the bezel at 11:45 and faint strap changing marks on the backs of the lugs.
