Tapestry dial for the win! The Rolex Datejust is a wrist icon, about to celebrate its 80th year in production. The tapestry dial kicks it up a notch - often seen in its gold variant, AKA the American Psycho, much less common to see the silver version. This is a gorgeous example from 2003, just full fully serviced in a great collector set! REF: 16234 SERIAL: F145XXX YEAR: 2003 DIAL: SWEET silver tapestry dial! Awesome texture with the vertical lines, and there’s a subtle pattern between them that pops like crazy in the light (check out the macro) just beautiful! Incredibly clean example with lume that still shines bright - all under a brand new sapphire crystal. CASE: 36MM stainless case with that classic 18k solid white gold fluted bezel. Case is nice and thick, even lugs with great brushing. Has wear throughout, including some on the bezel. Only wear of note is a nick on the top lug/case side. Barely noticeable on the wrist so as always I opt to leave original, but could have my watchmaker clean it up prior to shipping if the new owner wishes. MOVEMENT: Fully serviced 10 months ago (with receipt) so as you would imagine the classic cal 3135 automatic movement is running beautifully! BRACELET: Comes on a tight Rolex jubilee bracelet original to the watch with matching date code. Very minimal stretch, currently sized for up to app 7 inches but 4 additional links included so it can go large. Minimal wear, mostly the standard desk diving on the clasp as expected, but check out that crisp unpolished crown!
