For sale we have a nice Seiko 4502-7000 from January 1969, with a subtle patina on the dial. 36,000 beats per hour means a smooth second hands sweep, and the instant date change is worth staying up until midnight to witness. This watch freshly serviced and is running great—amplitude of 210-220+ at full wind, and keeping time at +/- 10 seconds per day. \-Dial-shows some patina, as pictures \-Case-typical dings and scuffs but edges are sharp and I don’t see any evidence of polish \-Medallion-present and in great shape \-Crystal-ok condition, some scratches if the light hits it right and a small chip at 7 o’clock \-Comes on a handmade leather strap, sorry no box or papers This is an awesome watch that's subtle but represents probably the pinnacle of vintage mechanical movements. A lot of people out there have explained better than I could why this movement is so special. You might not get many compliments on it from strangers while wearing it but, you'll know. Looking for $600 including insured US, open to offers. Probably not interested in trades but it never hurts to ask!
