Hey WatchEx! Up for sale is my Orient Star GMT “Explorer II”. This one is a rare bird. Comes with the original bracelet which has one micro-adjust setting on the clasp. The bracelet fits my 7” wrist on the tightest micro setting. It looks like 1 link was removed from it at some point; unfortunately, I don’t have it. The bracelet is in pretty good shape. A couple of the usual minor scuffing on some links and the clasp that you would find with light usage desk diving. The original end links are hollow. The strap is a custom made strap from the Veblenist. Happy to include it with the watch or keep it. It was a $95 strap but I’m not really looking to exclude it for a break in the price. The watch itself is in excellent condition. I cannot find defects to note on the crystal or the bezel. The case is in great condition. Nothing to note on the brushed top side, there are some minor scratches on the polished non-crown side. The polished crown side looks great as does the case back. The date cyclops is planted firmly on. Full transparency: The watch is from around 2002, I’m not the original owner so I am not sure of the service history. It is running a bit slow (maybe -10 minutes a day) so I think a service is needed. It’s an automatic, non hacking movement. Dimensions are 40mm wide, 45mm lug to lug, 13mm case thickness, 20mm lug width. Bidirectional rotating 24 hour bezel with 48 notches. This is a beautiful watch that gives major Explorer II vibes but has its own original flair with its deep blue dial and bright yellow GMT hand and chapter ring. Super rare, I did a quick check on the sub and I could not find one of these. Only comps I could find was one on eBay two years ago (900) and one on Watchuseek eight years ago (800). I think the proportions of this watch are perfect. I’m asking 850 shipped to CONUS via PPF&F or Venmo (add associated percentage for protection options).
