*For sale is this very special* ***JDM Seiko Alpinist GMT SBCJ019***\*.  *I received this late last week after purchasing from one of the great sellers here on*\* r/WatchExchange:  u/AudaciousCo *(JDM Horologist), who specializes in great quality, cool JDM watches  Around the same time, I had just purchased another JDM Seiko (Spirit ‘Military’ 7N42-8260) on eBay, and I had to face the tough decision to keep only one.  Finances and the more casual “beater” vibe of the Spirit Military led me to keep that one, so….* *I hope* u/AudaciousCo *doesn’t mind me plagiarizing most of his sales post, but:  a) his descripition was on point, b)  he was responsible for servicing, new battery, perpetual calendar set, and pressure test, and I can’t speak to those details; and c) I’m lazy.  So, the description below (non-italics) is primarily from* u/AudaciousCo, *with some minor edits/wordsmithing from me.  The photos are all mine (sorry for the less-than-stellar quality).* This collectible and now rare Alpinist model is powered by the renowned 8F perpetual calendar HAQ movement, which features a GMT function with an independent GMT hand *(aka “traveller’s GMT)*. **Photos/timestamp**: [https://imgur.com/a/](https://imgur.com/a/sbcj019-1wpnwab)UptoSzC ***Specification and condition*** * The watch measures 38.5mm in diameter, ~~20~~ *19*mm lug width and is 11mm in thickness. * Watch has just been serviced, new battery, perpetual calendar set, pressure test done. * Watch is in absolutely excellent condition, the bracelet is one of the most fluid and non stretched bracelets I've felt from the SBCJ line. * Bracelet fits up to ~~18.2~~ *19.0* cm ( ~~13~~ *14* links ) – *note:* u/AudaciousCo *was able to source an additional link for me, so now the bracelet easily fits a 7.25” wrist size.* * Watch comes with Seiko warranty paper, original titanium bracelet and generic watchbox u/feenanay0819 *here again....the watch as I received it from* u/AudaciousCo *was* *actually in* ***better than excellent*** *condition and looked near mint / NOS to me. However, when I first got the watch I put it on an Erika's Original strap before adding the additional link that* u/AudaciousCo *provided. In reinstalling the bracelet, I slipped a bit with bottom end link and lightly scratched the top of the bottom lugs.
