Reposting (3/6 last listing) Up for sale is a vintage Omega Bumper Automatic (Ref. F6524) from the early 1950s, featuring a 14K solid gold case and the classic Caliber 342 bumper movement. This is a great piece for collectors who appreciate the unique history of Omega’s early automatic watches. Details: • Brand: Omega • Model: Bumper Automatic • Reference: F6524 (Wadsworth case) • Movement: Omega Caliber 342, 17-jewel bumper automatic • Case Material: 14K solid gold (not gold-filled or plated) • Case Size: 33mm (wears elegantly on the wrist) • Dial: Looks like an older redial, if not original. Lume does not appear to be present. Dial printing looks good, but there is some spotting (it’s over 70 years old!) • Crystal: Acrylic has been touched up with Polywatch. A new crystal wouldn’t hurt—there are some scratches present, but none that bother me enough to change it out. • Crown: Likely a serviced replacement. Hard to tell, but I wouldn’t be surprised. • Strap: 18MM genuine leather strap I put on it—nothing special, with a gold buckle. • Service History: Watch runs well for me. I haven’t done a time check, but the bumper appears to have been serviced many times per the case back. Condition & Notes: This watch is in vintage condition, with some scratches on the case. The bumper movement is running, but as with any vintage watch, a service is always recommended. The rotor still gives that satisfying “bump” when worn. Case is unpolished and lugs have their original shape. Price & Shipping: • Asking: $1,350 (OBO) – PayPal G&S preferred for buyer protection • Shipping: Will ship insured within CONUS • Trades: Open to a more modern precious metal watch or another dress watch. Less interested in vintage, as I already have other vintage pieces. Happy to provide additional photos or answer any questions. Thanks for looking!
