No, this isn’t a sketchy Navitimer homage. It’s actually the real deal – well, sort of. When Breitling went bankrupt in the late 1970s, Ollech & Wajs and Sinn bought the company’s parts, tools, and even its intellectual property.  The result was the Aviation Chronographe Suisse and the Sinn 903. This explains why these watches are an exact copy of the Navitimer, all while avoiding copyright infringement. The Aviation Chronographe Suisse is the rarer brother, as it was discontinued. In true Navitimer fashion, the watch includes a 24-hour Valjoux 7736 movement (like the Breitling 806), a large case size of 40mm, and even the famous slide rule bezel. Plus, it’s an important piece of history – or of Breitling’s demise, at least. **Details & More** **Condition:** Virtually perfect for its age. Very minor scratches on the case, but nothing worth noting.
