One of the best condition and preserved Lemania piece with clear alarm! Massive 40mm diameter excluding the crowns!  For consideration is a pre-owned large **Swiss Lemania Memomatic automatic alarm watch**, likely produced in the late 1960s / early 1970s. Gold plated case and stainless steel case back. Swiss Lemania 2980 (similar to Omega 980) automatic alarm movement, 19j. In outstanding mint condition overall. Original Lemania-signed gold colored dial in excellent condition; no immediately visible imperfections. Hands, applied golden-onyx colored hourly markers and replacement plexi crystal in excellent shape. Date indicator at 3h, quickset via pusher on the side of the case at 3h. The lume plots as you can see still glow brightly from the photos just taken!   Alarm function activated through upper crown, alarm set via lower crown. *There are a number of videos re. Very helpful if you're a novice - and better than trying things the wrong way & possibly damaging the movement while doing so!* Yellow gold plated brushed upper case and stainless steel case back, in excellent condition with only very few light surface scratches. *We note that some of the Lemania Memomatics on offer here & elsewhere have been overly polished. This example features its original brushed look.* The watch is winding, setting and running well. It is currently keeping good vintage time (ca. +31 sec per day, based on a recent 24h time check). Alarm function works as it should. Comes on a used black leather strap with neutral gold plated buckle. Well sized at ca. 40mm in diameter excl. crown, and ca. 42mm lug-to-lug.
