I bought it new at Burcherer in Manhattan in late 2021 after it was discontinued. While the new ceramic blacked-out model was very striking, I felt like the heritage dark’s white numbers and marking on the bezel are just more true to form in the diver aesthetic than the all-black numbering of the new model. I think the heritage is sharp and classic at the same time. It’s also a bit more rare in the Tudor landscape and made for a wonderful conversation piece. It’s accompanied by the Heritage “distressed” leather strap with steel satin Tudor clasp, as well as a Jacquard fabric strap fitted with a satin black buckle shaped in the trademark Tudor Crown design. It’s 41mm and has a 70 hour reserve, along with 200m protection. It’s also fitted with Tudor’s first in-house certified movement, the Tudor Caliber MT5602 (In-House, COSC-Certified).
