Originally designed for pilots, the “Big Crown”—which gives the model its name—allowed for easy adjustments while wearing gloves. The Oris Big Crown Complication Moonphase, features a 38mm stainless steel case with a rose gold-plated coin-edge bezel. The case measures 47.5mm lug-to-lug, 11.5mm in thickness, and has a lug width of 19mm. It is equipped with a domed plexiglass crystal and a screw-down exhibition case back showcasing the automatic Oris Caliber 581 movement, which offers a 38-hour power reserve and operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour. The silver guilloché dial includes gold-toned Arabic numerals and indices, with sub-dials displaying the day at 3 o'clock, a 24-hour second time zone at 6 o'clock, and the date at 9 o'clock. A moonphase indicator is positioned at 12 o'clock. The watch is water-resistant up to 50 meters. The watch is in near mint condition, it was bought off exhibition case from Oris AD in Bangkok Thailand so there was very little sign of use although can expect some hairline on the caseback. Watch comes on original OEM bracelet which fits up to 20cm (8 inches) . Watch has been serviced so it keeps great time. Watch comes with original box and papers.
