In 1970, having a 48mm watch would be so uncommon that it’s hard to imagine someone wearing this without being a pilot or something connected to that field. It’s the perfect example of what Breitling used to be about – professional watches for aviation uses. This particular example is one of the finest I’ve ever seen. The dial and hands retain the original colors and are still shining bright.
