2025 Christopher Ward Titanium Bel Canto Aventurine Dial LE BNIB This unworn aventurine dial is one of 100 bespoke limited editions made for The Watch Society and is numbered #54. It includes the titanium bader bracelet (unsized) and a navy calfskin leather strap on deployant, both feature quick release spring bars. Includes the shipping box, inner box sleeve, wooden box, warranty card, instruction book, and cleaning cloth. These are not available through CW, but with tariffs a new Bel Canto costs around $7k to the US with just a strap. $5,950 net to me plus actual shipping cost

Christopher Ward was founded by Chris Ward, Mike France and Peter Ellis on a boat on the river Thames in 2004.

In 2005, Christopher Ward released their first watch which created a whole new model for the watchmaking industry. When influential watch bloggers wrote about their watches on TimeZone, Christopher Ward were being discussed more than Rolex in December 2005.

For the company’s 10th anniversary in 2014, it merged with Swiss manufacturing partners Synergies Horlogères SA to create Christopher Ward London Holdings Ltd. This culminated in the launch of Christopher Ward’s first in-house movement, Calibre SH21, in July 2014. Conceived and designed over the past four years by Christopher Ward’s watchmaker, Johannes Jahnke, the SH21 is entirely Swiss-made by some craftsmen. This release is said to be “probably the most important development by a British watch brand in the past 50 years.”

Christopher Ward London was the only watch company to rank in The Sunday Times SME Export Track 100, ranking 77th in 2015.
