Hi everyone, for sale today is a nice Omega Dogleg 168.005.

1. General introduction
A stainless steel Omega 168.005, original piepan dial, Omega BOR 1503/570 in very good condition, serviced, shipping fee with insurance in EU/US included.
Brand: Omega; Model: Constellation; Reference: 168.005.

2. Detail

Dial: Original piepan dial with evenly-distributed small spots, onyx inserted hour markers; dauphine hands; prints, hands and hour markers are all good.
Case: The diameter is 34.5mm without the crown. Original case is in good condition. Original Omega decagonal crown.
Movement: Caliber 564 chronometer with quick-set date function in very good condition. The watch is running, all functions work as they should. Serial number is 24824684, dated to 1966. Last service in June 2025.
Glass: Original with Omega logo, good condition.
Bracelet: Original Omega bracelet reference 1503 with 570 endlink in very good condition, triple fold clasp featuring micro-adjust with Omega logo.
Accessory: A new brown leather strap.
Overall, this is a very good example of the reference.

3. Payment and shipping

Priced: 1130euro for the watch + 200euro for service + 200 euro for the bracelet + 70euro for shipping in EU (insuranced, in EU/US) = 1600 Euro NET to me 😜. If buyer prepares a shipping label (I can drop off the watch at a shipping station), then the price would be 1530euro.

Founded at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848 by 23-year-old Louis Brandt who assembled key-wound precision pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen. He travelled throughout Europe selling his watches from Italy to Scandinavia by way of England, his chief market. After Louis Brandt's death in 1879, his two sons Louis-Paul and Cesar, troubled by irregular deliveries of questionable quality, abandoned the unsatisfactory assembly workshop system in favour of in-house manufacturing and total production control. Due to the greater supply of manpower, communications and energy in Bienne, the enterprise moved into a small factory in January 1880, then bought the entire building in December. Two years later the company moved into a converted spinning-factory in the Gurzelen district of Bienne, where headquarters are still situated today. Their first series-produced calibres, Labrador and Gurzelen, as well as, the famous Omega calibre of 1894, would ensure the brand's marketing success.
