Up for sale is a Seiko SBCJ031 titanium GMT Alpinist with the numeral cream dial. This is the first of two SBCJ031 I'm posting for sale as I look to pare down my collection. These titanium GMT Alpinists from the 2000's are among my most cherished watches. The watch for sale is in excellent condition. The case shows minor surface swirls on the polished parts. The case back shows some scratches. The 2 o'clock crown rotates the internal compass bezel smoothly, and the 4 o'clock crown screws down securely. The movement is running well. The battery was changed within the last year, and the perpetual calendar has been correctly set. The watch is on a brand new Barton leather/rubber hybrid strap with quick release spring bars. This is a long discontinued model that is powered by the 8F56 high end quartz movement (spec'ed to within 20 sec/yr). This gem of a movement features perpetual calendar, a 10-year battery change interval, a true GMT hand, and an hour hand that can be adjusted in 1 hour increments (very useful for travelling or DST changes).
