Hey all! Here is for sale a nice vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual 1002 34mm. Watch is in good condition, for sale is the watch only. Case measures 34mm and looks a bit bigger on the wrist, lug width is 19mm. Case has signs of wear, but no major dings or deep scratches. Case has 1002 reference between the lugs as well as 143**** serial which dates the watch back to 1966. Caseback has all the necessary inscriptions inside as well as 1002 ref and III.66 which means third quarter of 1966. Crown is screw down and has Rolex logo. Crystal is acrylic. Dial is the best thing right here, this one is black with applied Rolex logo, all the necessary inscriptions an T Swiss T at the bottom. Dial is in great condition, it looks nice and has all the lume dots intact, please check the lumeshot in Imgur gallery. Lume on hands matches the lume on dial. Black glossy dial is pretty rare in this reference, moreover this dial can be considered rail dial, because of coinciding spaces at the middle of both text lines – between Superlative and Chronometer, between Officially and Certified. Rail dial comes from vertically aligned lines, like railway tracks, and these are more common in vintage Explorers, Submariners and Sea-Dweller, but to meet them in 1002 is great surprise. Movement is Rolex cal. 1570 in great condition, at the moment of sale watch keeps -12 sec/day, please check the timegrapher pic in Imgur gallery. Bracelet is Rolex 78350 with 19mm 557 endlinks, clasp code is I2 which dates back to 1984, this is the later bracelet but most of 1002 were equipped with that one. Bracelet is in great condition, it has minimal stretch and total with the watch can easily fit a 19.5cm wrist. Watch looks great due to its classic Rolex design and black dial makes it even better.
