Watch: First-generation Paulin Neo C with display caseback. *NOTE: This version of the Neo C has a date window (which uses the same custom font as the numerals on the dial) and a different color scheme for the numerals than the current generation of the Neo C.* To my knowledge, the specs are otherwise the same in terms of case size, lug width, crystal, movement, etc. Watch condition: Like-new. Purchased new from Windup Watch Shop. Worn 3 or 4 times … and never on the 18mm Paulin German suede grey strap. *NOTE: Some of the photos are on my vintage Eulit Perlon strap, which is not part of the sale.* Additional contents shipped: Full kit — Cork-lined Paulin box; Paulin sleeve that acts as the “papers” for this watch; unworn & with tag Paulin suede grey strap, with P(aulin)-branded buckle. (Crown has the same P-branding.) Highlights of the watch: The dial! Paulin fabricates the anodized aluminum dial in collaboration with anOrdain … fully in the UK. The dial is fabricated in three stages: milled down to size from solid aluminum; anodized and hand-dyed; and then printed by hand on a pad-printing machine with a custom typeface designed by Paulin’s in-house typographer. (The typeface continues into the date window, as well.) The dial and font colors change significantly depending on angles and light. The handset further adds to a really fun, distinctive, bespoke look.
