Rare 1940s Breitling Chronograph (Ref. 178) featuring the original Venus 170 column-wheel movement and untouched dial. Watch is in good condition overall. The stainless steel case shows almost no wear and no damage. The dial is all original with visible patina, and striking blue steel hands. The Venus 170 movement runs perfectly and the chronograph starts, stops, and resets as intended. Just back from service. Strap is nice brown leather. Refer to close-up photos for detailed condition. Case Measurements: • Case without crown: 33mm • Case with crown: 35mm • Lug to lug: 37mm • Lug width: 18mm Wears slightly larger due to long lugs and pump pushers — classic vintage proportions.
