Selling my Generation 1, 2011 production 42mm Omega Planet Ocean. This is the 2201.51 reference. It's in good condition and is running well (about +1.2 seconds a day), but does have some nicks and dents from the last year and a half of wear. This has the later 2500D movement, which is a step up from the earlier co-axial movements that showed up in the mid-2000s production POs. Come with the original box, papers, a receipt from an Omega service from 2018, and the bracelet with a spare link. The bracelet with spare link can size up to about 7.6", and is currently sized for my 7.5" wrist. Will also ship on the tropic strap that I show in the photos. I'm looking for $3000 OBO. I'm located within the US (ships from Utah), and would ship to a FedEx store near you for pickup. I'm happy to share more photos on request! Founded at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848 by 23-year-old Louis Brandt who assembled key-wound precision pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen. He travelled throughout Europe selling his watches from Italy to Scandinavia by way of England, his chief market. After Louis Brandt's death in 1879, his two sons Louis-Paul and Cesar, troubled by irregular deliveries of questionable quality, abandoned the unsatisfactory assembly workshop system in favour of in-house manufacturing and total production control. Due to the greater supply of manpower, communications and energy in Bienne, the enterprise moved into a small factory in January 1880, then bought the entire building in December. Two years later the company moved into a converted spinning-factory in the Gurzelen district of Bienne, where headquarters are still situated today. Their first series-produced calibres, Labrador and Gurzelen, as well as, the famous Omega calibre of 1894, would ensure the brand's marketing success.
