Selling a very clean example of an early Heuer 844 Monnin Automatic. It has the correct early style bezel, cathedral hands, dial font and text, etc. Case number is 4054. The watch was serviced several years ago by the PO and has not been worn since - I always wear my uncle’s 844 instead. So, hoping to find a new home for this one where it will get the wrist time it deserves! The bezel is remarkably clean, with a small ding near the 50 marker and a very small mark near 30 but otherwise darn near pristine - the photos make it look much worse than it is in person. The bezel turns as you would want, with a nice firm click. The watch winds and runs well, no issues with the movement that I’m aware of (but not have not opened it myself). The case is in great vintage condition. I don’t think the bracelet is original, but it is marked Heuer and looks correct to other vintage bracelets I’ve seen (not the beads of rice style, though) I wouldn’t be selling this if I didn’t have my uncle’s 844 - pic below of the pair of them - the one for sale is on the LEFT in that image.
