Up for sale is a rare bird--a Credor GBAY996, dating back to 2001-2002, when the model was made for a single year run. The watch case is 18k gold, as well as a substantial portion of the inside of the watch. The case is in excellent shape, and it has started to take on a nice purplish patina in some spots. I love gold patina like this, and I seek out watches that have it. The case measures in at approximately 37mm. The watch features a very nicely finished manual wind Seiko Caliber 4S79 movement. This caliber was the first Seiko movement to receive a chronometer designation since the 1970s (though this particular reference is not chronometer certified). The watch comes with its original box and papers, and on a leather strap. The price of gold hit an all time high recently, and I'm not sure what the future holds for gold prices.
