Frederique Constant Classics Automatic watch with original presentation box, booklets, and hang tag. A classy dress watch with Roman numerals and Swiss quality fit and finish.

Model FC-303MC4P6, the popular 40mm version with 22mm lugs.

Condition is excellent, as seen in the photos. But photos cannot adequately capture the exquisite beauty of the fine guilloche pattern on the dial as the light moves over it. The black Breguet style hands are well proportioned to the satin-finished minute track on which the Roman numerals are printed.

The FC-303 Swiss movement (based on the Sellita SW-200) is handwinding, hacking, and self-winding with a customized gold rotor. It beats at 28,800 A/h for smooth sweep seconds and features a 38-hour power reserve. The watch sets, winds, and keeps great time, though it hasn't been timed for accuracy.

Sapphire crystal remains pristine, and the polished steel case is virtually spotless. Crown is signed with the FC logo. The thin 10.8mm case tapers down even further to the exhibition caseback, making the watch feel even lighter on the wrist.

The original, FC-signed, crococalf strap is very lightly used, not even broken in. It was kept in storage for several years. There are odd marks on the back from the strap pieces being stored in contact with each other, but nobody will ever see that.

Asking $500 shipped to CONUS only. The watch retails for $1,325, and the box alone is apparently worth up to $150 on eBay (look it up).
