Up for sale today is my 1904 Elgin Wire lug/trench conversion watch. Asking 450 Negotiable - US Shipping Only Please Selling to continue slimming down my watch box I bought the watch back in late 2022 and had the watch fully serviced by a vintage specialist at Morrison Smith Jewelers here in Charlotte. The watch currently runs about -60 seconds a day which is about as much as you can hope for in terms of a 7 jewel watch from 1904. The fully wound power reserve is about 30-36 ish hours The case is gold filled with no worn through spots, ie the still fully gold filled. There are some small dents on the back of the case but nothing substantial.  The glass crystal does have a small scratch going from the center to about the 3 marker, however it's very fine and you only notice if you are actively looking for it. there is a second scratch right near the 12 marker as well, also only noticeable if you look for it. Finally there is a small dot shaped blemish to the right of the 8 marker The dial is seemingly original and has no cracks of any kind. Case size is 32.7 mm across w/o the stem The case is 10.5mm thick and 14.5mm thick with the strap on The watch is currently on a [VintageWatchStraps.Com](http://VintageWatchStraps.Com) bund strap, my wrist is 7.25 inches for reference. If you have any more questions please ask! Per [ElginNumbers.com](http://ElginNumbers.com) the serial number ( 10436481 )  dates back to 1904 with the below specs Production Year : 1904 Size : 0s Jewels : 7 jewels Grade : 219 Model : 1 Class : 84 Run Quantity : 1000 Production Dates : 1899 to 1904 Total Grade Production : 22000 Movement Configuration : Hunter Case Movement Setting : Pendant Wind and Set Movement Finish : Gilded Plate : 3/4 Plate Barrel : Going Barrel Adjusted : No
