Good afternoon, r/WatchExchange! Up for grabs is this mint condition Laco Augsburg 42mm Grau pilot watch. This watch is exactly one month old today. Purchased by my wife as a gift to me because she knew I was looking at Lacos, she realized I hadn’t worn it since day 2 and officially gave me permission to sell. The Laco I’m looking to upgrade to is the Frankfurt GMT, fwiw. This is a really nice piece, but frankly I’d rather have the watch I was targeting rather than this, so I hope this piece will serve someone well. This watch features a 42mm case size with 20mm lugs, is 11.7mm tall, and is 50mm lug to lug. Despite being on the larger size, it doesn’t wear quite as large as you can tell from the pics. The movement is the standard Laco 2S movement with no ghost. Sapphire crystal on the front and for the exhibition case back. Everything on this watch is mint, there isn’t really a mark on the case or the bracelet. I literally wore it to dinner the day I got it and around the house another day, and it’s been in a display case ever since. As far as accuracy goes, I’ve found that when it spends time on the winder, the +/- can be a bit erratic - possibly because it’s not on the correct turn setting, which I’ve noticed on other watches with this same movement. However, when it went from a fresh wind to on the wrist it was quite accurate. The listing includes the full kit - original box, STAMPED warranty card, and all extra links. The bracelet is currently sized for a 7.5” wrist. Asking $475 shipped (with insurance) to CONUS. This is the best price you’ll find for what’s essentially a brand-new condition Augsburg on a bracelet. Sorry, no trades. I guarantee the form and function of all of my listed watches. If for any reason the item received does not match the description, I will accept a return. I will not accept returns for change of heart though, sorry. I accept Venmo, CashAPP, as well as PayPal. I have several sales here on the exchange and would be happy to provide references, as well as any questions you may have. Thanks for looking!
