Up for sale is my lightly worn Seiko Guigiaro Rider watch. I've worn this maybe a dozen times total. Normally sits in the watch box and doesn't get the rotation and wrist time it deserves. Comes with inner box, outer box, warranty card, extra links. >***$320*** Seiko Chronograph: Guigiaro Rider Limited Edition **# 1283/1500** Movement: 7T12 Quartz Chronograph ±15 seconds per month Accuracy Stainless steel case with super-hard coating Case back Curved glass 10 bar water resistance 5 years Battery Life Magnetic resistance H **44.2mm** x W **43mm** x D **11.4mm** Size Serial number engraved on the case back 24-hour hand Chronograph up to 1 hour in 1/5 second increments Limited 1,500 pcs. Calendar (date) function Speaking of the tilted dial design, it is about time we clarify what that’s for: Giugiaro and Seiko first designed such a “Rider’s Chronograph” back in the 1980s. This piece, a close homage to those from some thirty years ago, has a dial that was tilted clockwise by 15° and, here’s the coolest bit, also three dimensionally by 5°, so that it “slopes” towards the wearer. Even the raised plexi front, Seiko says, has been modified so that it works better with this unusual positioning of the dial.
