For sale is my upgraded Seiko SKX015 with tons of extras. I really like this midsize diver because you can easily give it different looks with different bracelet/strap/bezel/insert combinations. I personally like the all blue look with the 12 hour ceramic bezel insert, or the classic Pepsi bezel on US beads of rice or the Z 20 rubber strap. The ‘Divers 200’ on the dial is vibrant for the age of the watch and the dial code reads 7S26-003R R 2. This had been upgraded with a regulated NH36 movement (hacking), and a knurled crown from Namoki has been swapped in. I will also include the original crown with the watch and the following extras: What’s included: - Coim edge bezel from Watch&Style - Ceramic 12 hour insert from Watch&Style (currently on coin edge bezel) - Original ‘notched’ Seiko bezel - OEM SKX015 bezel insert still in packaging (scarce) - Uncle Seiko Custom curved tropic strap, Blue (MSRP $40) - Uncle Seiko Beads of Rice Bracelet (MSRP $80) (p.s. - the end links are brushed mat, as I usually wore the BoR bracelet on the reverse brushed side) - Seiko Z 20 Rubber strap (unused) - Namoki knurled crown (MSRP $25) - Original crown - Upgraded crystal - 2 extra gaskets and bezel adhesive - Namoki NH36 regulated movement (MSRP $65) Price for everything is $499 OBO. The company was founded in 1881, when Kintarō Hattori opened a watch and jewelry shop called "K. Hattori" (服部時計店 Hattori Tokeiten?) in the Ginza area of Tokyo, Japan. Eleven years later, in 1892, he began to produce clocks under the name Seikosha (精工舎 Seikōsha?), meaning roughly "House of Exquisite Workmanship". According to Seiko's official company history, titled "A Journey In Time: The Remarkable Story of Seiko" (2003), Seiko is a Japanese word meaning "exquisite" or "success" ("exquisite" is usually written 精巧 from Chinese jīngqiǎo, while the meaning "success" is usually written 成功 from Chinese chénggōng).

Seiko is perhaps best known for its wristwatches, all of which were at one time produced entirely in-house. This includes not only major items such as microgears, motors, hands, crystal oscillators, batteries, sensors, LCDs but also minor items such as the oils used in lubricating the watches and the luminous compounds used on the hands and the dials.
