LIV is a brand I didn't initially care for - but I have to say, after handling a few of their pieces recently, I'm quite impressed. Another fun independent brand, they're able to pack a lot into their models while also keeping costs relatively low for what you're getting. This, the Gravel series, is an extremely comfortable do-it-all adventure piece. Carbon case, Swiss movement, a good water resistance rating, and a fitted rubber strap make this ready for just about any adventure. Bonus: if you're buried in snow, this will be able to be seen from space with how intense the orange is. These were initially offered through a Kickstarter campaign - which funded very quickly. Most of their other releases were done traditionally, and their success is only mounting.
