This is a fan favorite from Oris and it's not hard to see why. The BCPD has long been a staple in the Oris catalog. The watch definitely gives off a vintage vibe but also looks incredibly modern too. It's a watch that could easily serve as a one watch collection. The case is 40mm and has 50m of WR. It's powered by the Oris 754, which is a workhorse Sellita SW-200 that has been modified with a pointer date function. The sapphire crystal is heavily domed and is incredibly well done, this is they type of crystal Omega should be using on their sapphire Moonwatch. The date is a rich blueish gray color that is extremely versatile while also being unique. The cathedral hands, coin edge bezel, amazing hour marker font, and that bright red tip on the pointer date hand all come together to form something that is truly special. It wears very comfortably on just about any wrist size. The back is a mineral crystal that shows off the 4 hz movement ticking away inside. This particular watch is in very good condition overall. The crystal is clean and scratch free. There are some light marks on the high polish sides of the case, consistent with normal wear and apart from that there are no major scratches, dings or dents. The watch is fully function and keeps great time. Over the course of 30 days it maintained a very steady -2.5 seconds per day. The watch comes with the original box, manual and warranty card. The warranty card is no longer valid, but as stated above the watch is in perfect working condition. The suede strap in the pictures is a very nice one from BandRBands and is included. The original leather strap from Oris remains in excellent shape and is also included. Asking price is $950 and I'm open to reasonable offers. Not interested in any trades at the moment.
