Up for sale is my Nivada Grenchen Super Antarctic, purchased new from Nivada in August 2022. I really hate to get rid of this watch but need to free up some funds for life things. I get more compliments on this piece (even from strangers on the street!) than I’ve ever gotten on a watch before. This watch is constantly sold out on Nivada’s website, so grab it here instead! The Super Antarctic is modern replica of models that Nivada made for Antarctic exploration in the 1950s. Powered by a Swiss Soprod P024 no-date automatic movement, beating at 28,800 bph. Sapphire double-domed crystal, stainless steel case, and screw down crown. The watch is in beautiful condition. It runs perfectly and keeps about +3 to +5 seconds per day for me. The sapphire crystal is flawless. The polished part of the steel case has some scratches from daily use, as highlighted in the photos. They’re superficial and only visible at certain angles. Note that the polished aspects do scratch easily. Comes with the original branded Nivada black Italian leather strap and a Geckota polished stainless steel beads of rice band that I think looks really great on the watch. The Geckota has a butterfly clasp that I love. Extra links for the beads of rice included. Will come in the original box. Warranty card included, good through August 2024.
