Dial & Hands: The dial and hands are genuine Omega parts for the very rare Mitsukoshi Speedmaster that was exclusively available in Japan from Mitsukoshi department stores. The panda dial features a silvery white main dial, black subdials, and a high polish finish on the hands. The hour markers and Omega logo are applied and also have a high polish finish. Pictures never do this dial justice, since the dial always seems to photograph white. However, when viewed in person, the main dial has a very subtle silver sparkle that looks incredible in sunlight.
In the last couple years it has become significantly harder to source unique parts like the Mitsukoshi dial, since Omega revised their policy about issuing specialty parts like this to independent watchmakers, without the servicing party sending in a damaged dial (of the exact specification) in exchange for the new one. These dials with the matching high polish handset, will only get increasing harder to come by. Prices for just the Mitsukoshi dial + hand set are typically $2,000+. To reiterate, this is not an original (circa 2003) Mitsukoshi Speedmaster…it is a more modern reference with a genuine Omega Mitsukoshi dial, and genuine Mitsukoshi handset.

Aesthetic Condition: preowned condition with very subtle signs of wear. The most notable blemish is a scratch on the left hand side of the case (along the satin brushed side of the case). This scratch is not deep enough to catch a fingernail. I’ve included a picture of the scratch at an angle that overemphasizes it, but I would rather overstate the imperfections vs. understate them. No scratches on either of the sapphire surfaces. Minor scratches on bracelet consistent with wearing it a few times per month over the last couple years.
Mechanical Condition: I just had the watch regulated on 6/6/2023) by my watchmaker; it’s currently running +1/sec per day. The chronograph starts, stops, and resets to "0", exactly as it should.
Box, Card, and Accessories: Speedmaster presentation (big) box, Omega loupe, Omega spring bar tool, Speedmaster challenge coin, Omega black NATO strap, Omega NASA velcro strap. No original dial/hands, or PIC cards are included.
