For your consideration 1970 Seiko Bell-Matic 4006-7028 Seiko made some amazing watches in the 60’ and 70’s. Among those, the Bell-Matic was unique. It featured a automatic movement with a mechanical alarm. And unlike some other alarm watches, it featured a separate barrel for the alarm. This allowed the alarm to be used without wasting the energy from the time keeping barrel. Resulting in a more accurate alarm watch. This piece from June 1970 was service and rebuilt by HCV ( Hub city Vintage) and is in great shape. From the unpolished case with signs of wear congruent with the age, to the nearly perfect dial this watch is a stunner. Everything on the watch works as it should. And dial up running +1.5 min/day.
