**HISTORY** The year was 1931,it’s been 4 years since Charles Lindbergh accomplished the first solo transatlantic flight from New York City to Paris, France. He contacts Longines to design a watch to aid future pilots in similar flights. This watch was made to be used as a Global Positioning System(GPS) long before the invention of the Radar. This watch is still being made today and is known as the Longines Lindbergh Hour Angle Watch. Such a cool piece of history! ​ **CONDITION** The watch was seldom worn and is immediately apparent from the finishing on the case which only has only small hairline scratches on the side of the case that is hardly noticeable in the pictures and can only be really seen when expecting it up close in person. The strap is original to the watch which is incredible for a 20+ year old watch and the condition is equally so. Almost no wear and is pre curved due to being in it’s case most of it’s life. Finally, this watch has been professionally serviced in June of 2023 and is running fantastic. Only losing about 10 seconds a day in normal conditions.
