Seiko VH31 movement has a second hand ticking 4 times per second almost as smooth as a mechanical (18000 bph ticks 5 times a second, 21600 bph ticks 6 times a second). It came on a flimsy NATO that I replaced with a brown top grain leather as befits the Flieger style

The "Type B" dial is crisp and super legible, the dial is white full-lume. The seconds hand is has an arrow head and tail. The hour and minute hands are hollow so the black wires do not hide the indices underneath readable in the dark.
